Portuguese beginner

Portuguese Beginner Modules 1, 2 & 3

In this course you will:

•Greet people & introduce yourself.

•Exchange personal information.

•Talk about nationalities and 

  professions.

•Talk about interests and free time.

•Order food and drink.

 Basic grammar will be studied. You will learn to use expressions and forms appropriate to the language using articles, plural of nouns, gender of nouns, personal pronouns and verbs at present tense.

This course is for absolute beginners and for those who have studied less than 1 year.

Portuguese Elementary Modules 

1, 2 & 3

In this course you will:

•Express likes, dislikes and preferences.

•Talk about daily routine.

•Talk about near future plans.

•Make invitations to entertainment

 and celebrations. 

•Arrange a doctor’s appointment and explain simple health problems.

 You will practice your skills and build on your previous knowledge of basic key phrases, vocabulary, simple grammar and culture.

This course is for people who have studied for 1 year or more.

Portuguese Pre Intermediate  Modules 1, 2 & 3

In this course you will:

•Talk about events in the past.

•Ask for help on the phone, deal with    problems and emergencies.

•Understand and make a simple   advertisement.    

•Make proposals and discuss ideas.

•Enquire and understand   information on the phone. 

You will build up your knowledge and practice your skills to a higher level, with more sophisticated phrases, expressions, grammar and culture. 

This course is for people who have studied for 2 years or more.

                 In this course you will:

•Improve your reading skills, pronunciation, intonation and 

 fluency.

•Create your versions of the stories and develop your comprehension skills.

•Boost your communication abilities and confidence to speak.

•Expand your vocabulary, learn new phrases and expressions.

If you want to converse in Portuguese and improve your basic skills, this Conversation with Stories course is for you. You will enjoy reading, listening and talking about the stories, while building on your previous knowledge and enhancing your communication abilities. 

This course is for people who have studied for 1 year or more.

                   •Revision Course•

In this basic course you will revise and practise the topics: 

• Personal information 

• Ordering food and drink 

• Travelling and directions

• Shopping

• Likes, dislikes and favourites.  

The focus will be on the conversation,  you will extend your vocabulary, improve your confidence to speak and your pronunciation. This course is ideal, if you have stopped your studies for a while, would like to continue and move up to the next level. 

               •Intensive Course•  

Speed up your learning process, studying at 2 or 3 of our courses, adding more hours weekly and  achieve your fluency faster.

                 In this course you will:
•Talk about basic topics such as personal information, shopping and preferences.

•Converse about topics such as daily routine, free time, future and past activities.  

•Develop vocabulary, improve pronunciation and fluency.

•Improve your confidence in 

 speaking.

 If you want to practise your Portuguese and improve your confidence to talk, when traveling in Portugal or Brazil, this Conversation course is for you. 

Students will be able to practise their conversational skills, discussing topics of interest, in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. 

This course is for people who have studied for 2 years or more.
